Omnipotent Goddess VS Free Women

The acrylic paintings of the feminist movement promote women's liberation and break the unrealistic expectation for women to play different roles at the same time.

I was influenced by the Feminist constructivism theory to create these two feminist movement acrylic paintings. This theme aims to promote women's liberation against stereotyping and sexism in contemporary media and life.

Nowadays, there are many organizations that assist and protect women's legal and/or political rights. We can always observe and/or encounter various kinds of development, such as widowed-style marriage or rearing. Besides, Women have been performing so many roles (e.g. housework and childcare) compared with men during the marriage. Therefore, it is widely recognized that women having multiple roles could suffer more stress and strain due to the high pressure of their responsibilities and/or the lack of leisure time. The designer thus takes advantage of contrasting characters of "omnipotent goddess" vs "free women" in terms of arousing individuals' attention on the traditional thoughts against women in contemporary marriage.
